It’s a fictional town, so no, Lincoln wasn’t there, poisoned or otherwise. It’s unlikely that Lincoln ever visited the town that inspired the Port, either. He was nearby, sure, but the railroad skipped right over the town when they got the chance to continue on into the District of Columbia in 1835.

Look, it’s always important to remember: no matter how significant a historical figure may seem, everybody barfs. Even if Lincoln didn’t vomit in my imaginary town, he had to do it somewhere at some point.
