Because they are AWESOME!! Not many things you do for birds are actually awesome, but this thing.. it is awesome in that it will truly generate some awe.
Since I put ours up, I see a hummingbird sitting on it every other time I check on them. They sit there and swing and watch the feeder, and when another zippy little fella tries to feed they fly at each other like tiny barnstormers.
If you can’t spare the $8, you can build your own out of twigs like the big bird you are.
For anyone who lives in a climate without hummingbirds, I say move!!
