Yes and no.
Sometimes the universe sends you subtle messages and sometimes it starts shouting at you.
There’s no way we could have enjoyed being at the beach during a near-hurricane knowing that you were sick at home with electricity flickering and all the pets having hysterics about the weather too.
Somehow I knew that if we came home, your fever would break, the power would stay on and the hurricane wouldn’t come up the Chesapeake Bay.
So, don’t worry about our vacation. Just be glad we got back in time for the dogs’ barf festival!!
