“Don’t Eat Your Children” is now in paperback and the hard cover edition still exists at the same time!!
This book is not the collection of random essays you have come to expect from me and my brain, but rather it is a full and useful work of non-semi-fiction!! It’s especially helpful for anyone contemplating parenthood, who may wonder, “What will I regret if I do this?” Personally, I have a cool dozen regrets that I am willing to talk about in this book.
If I told you that having children in your own home is lot like agreeing to have a minor lobotomy, would you still be considering it? Of course you would!! People do it anyway and are glad they did in the grand scheme of life. People are crazy.
This book is not only for parents, but for anyone who finds themselves caring for other people, especially people who are so completely accustomed to caring for others they don’t even think about it as one of many options. Overwhelm is a lifestyle, but not forever. It will be okay!!
Why did I write this? Not for revenge, but because I had to give up cooking when I found that I could not cook for fewer than eight and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with all my spare time and excess bossiness.
Yer welcome!!
